As others have said, it's a bit run down.I disagree with the free WiFi as I was rarely able to connect in my cabin. And I was never able to during peek times from 4pm till the early AM. I am taking this issue to the Office of Fair Trading as I think it's false advertising. So do not expect proper WiFi unless you sit right near the office. Disagree with the practice of tents and parking cars in the play ground area. I don't think this should be allowed. Other reviews have noted this issue so it seems to be standard and not a one off. Again, I think I will let some authority know. The price reflects the facilities.Excellent if you have a pet.Staff are first rate and very helpful.First class washing machines.

Nice place, nice owners, very cheap prices, would definitely stay there again.

I feel bad writing this because new managers have just taken over this week and I'm sure they will change things but right now this is not a nice park to stay in. Park is very cramped with one site just a small patch of grass right next to the porch of a cabin and with a row of bins actually on the site - this has clearly only been designated as a site to pack more people in. There was even someone camping on the kids' playground last night. We were originally allocated this site but when we said we couldn't/ wouldn't stay there, they gave us the option of 2 others. The best option we had was a broken-up-concrete site next to the amenities block. The lights of the amenities were bright and on all night but yet we could only get a key for the toilets associated with the YHA (new managers were still sorting through the keys) a few park 'blocks' away. Kitchen and toilets/ showers were rundown and with plenty of cockroaches around but they were kept fairly clean. Location is good and the new managers were very friendly so hopefully with a little maintenance and culling some sites to make more space, this park will improve.

Stumbled upon this caravan park after coming into Bateman bay with no accommodation plan. The customer service was extremely friendly both checking in and out and gave great information to my dad about travelling to other country towns. They were very down to earth. We got a cabin behind the office building and it was compact and made great use of the limited space. It was nice and homely and clean!

This place is very old basic accommodation. I would definitely only give it 1 star. If you are going to stay here I would recommend you bring all your own bedding, would not like to sleep with the quilt supplied
