Absolutely wonderful stayed in the K9 unit with my dog and 15month greatgrand daughter, very safe a little old but comfortable great camping grounds, recommended highly
Not bad for a day or two stay... family-friendly site and staff...
We got a powered campsite to put our motor home during the Christmas period and just went out for a day, so we just left our hoses at the site. They sold our campsite to another customers before calling us for double checking if we were leaving. We asked them to check if our hoses are still there, they said there was nothing left, but they didn't even walk out the office that just took them 5 minutes to check. On that day, we needed to rush back because we went quite far away and we finally arrived late at 9pm. Yet, the worst thing was we couldn't get our water as all the water taps are occupied by others and our bold water hose was taken. Our motorhome is 7 metres long which is quite hard to park and someone parked their caravan on our site so we could only park on the grass. Also, our van is almost 3 metres height that it could hit the tree at front. So on the next day, we went to the reception to ask for the reception solving out everthing for us. We asked for changing to the site beside us, but they said someone would come in to that site. It was so ridiculous that they could sold our site to the others but we couldn't change to a better one. The ranger inside are kind that they went to Bunnings to fix for us. However, the attitude of the staffs in the office are too rude that they even told us to be patient when our plan was messed up. We came here for relaxing and we booked the site 3 months earlier, but not for dealing with all of these.
Such a underwhelming park and we were expecting much more for the price. One of the worst we have stayed at. I cant believe the other reviews - In short... seriously dated, poorly managed, stinky bins right in the middle of camp sites, poorly maintained and dirty facilities. ( top toilets were good if you were will to go for the hike through all the cabin). They had consistently run out of toilet paper and soap as the caravan/ camping area had a tiny toilet block that got smashed throughout the day and was only cleaned once a day ( not even sure that was happening). It was gross. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Stayed in a cabin for 4 nights. Was lovely and clean, well stocked, bed made, soaps etc. Better accomodation than some Motel rooms!!Situated across from the beach, friendly staff and lovely clean park. A must stay!! Thanks guys.
