Gorgeous animals and a laid back atmosphere make Birdland a must see if you're checking out the area. Lots of shade and an opportunity to cuddle a wombat. What could be better?

Took our 3yr old and 18mth old son to visit today. Old style park with animals dotted about amongst random gardens. Perfect for kids "adventure" to find the animals. Plenty to pat and feed along the way. Star attraction were the cute, very inquisitive wombats! My daughter especially loved the little train ride. Reminds me of animals parks from when I was little. Will go again when next down that way for sure
Old school and needs some maintenance - but the staff are lovely and the animals happy and well looked after!
Visited today, hadn't been for 10years, wonderful to see the confidence and calm atmosphere that all these sentient beings are housed. Have read the negative reviews, as a Wildlife carer myself, I believe they are uncalled for...IF you are SERIOUSLY concerned for space, cobwebs, etc, INFORM the Staff, make a suggestion or offer to "fix" it yourself...trust me, caring for Wildlife requires dedication, time, patience, kindness, knowledge and repetition... I think the "complainers" mistake Birdland Park for a ZOO! ...We thoroughly were impressed and grateful these creatures have people who CARE about their long term welfare! For the "complainers" ask the Eurobodalla Shire Council to help fund this "Sanctuary"
